Laurie Wickens is a retired fisherman from Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia, best known as the primary eyewitness to the 1967 Shag Harbour UFO incident. On the night of October 4, 1967, while driving with friends, he spotted a large, low-flying object with flashing lights that crashed into the harbor, leading him to make the first phone call to the RCMP to report a potential plane crash.
