Guillermo Arreola is identified in accounts of the July 11, 1991 Mexican solar-eclipse UFO case as the videographer responsible for one of the best-known recordings of the apparent object. His footage showed a bright object in the darkened sky during the total solar eclipse and was subsequently passed to journalist Jaime Maussan for television broadcast. The recording became one of the principal pieces of video associated with the case.
