Investigative Journalist
George Knapp is an award-winning investigative journalist and news anchor based in Las Vegas, Nevada, currently serving as the chief reporter for the I-Team at KLAS-TV (Channel 8). Born on April 18, 1953, in Woodbury, New Jersey, and raised in Stockton, California, Knapp holds degrees in communications from West Georgia College and the University of the Pacific. He is best known for breaking the Bob Lazar story in 1989, which brought international attention to Area 51 and UFO conspiracy theories, and for co-authoring the book Hunt for the Skinwalker.
