Hotel Security Officer

On November 7, 1990, Albert Sterling, the assistant security director at the Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal, was the primary security witness for a massive, silent, and bright UFO sighting that lasted nearly three hours.

Initial Report: At approximately 7:30 p.m., hotel pool lifeguard Line Saint-Pierre spotted a large, glowing object and alerted Sterling.

Police Contact: Sterling immediately contacted the Montreal Police (Station 33) and later the RCMP, describing orange lights forming an oval with white beams shooting upward.

Witness Credibility: Sterling personally observed the object hovering above the hotel’s rooftop pool at an estimated altitude of 800 meters (2,600 feet). The RCMP later confirmed the credibility of the witnesses, including Sterling and dozens of other guests and staff.

Official Response: Despite the high credibility of Sterling’s testimony and the involvement of multiple law enforcement agencies, Dorval Airport radar detected no object, leading to skepticism regarding whether the lights were a reflection on clouds or a genuine aerial phenomenon.
